Formula E is set to electrify Miami with the much-anticipated Evo Sessions, the first event of its kind, where high-profile figures from sport, tech and entertainment will be immersed in the world of electric racing. Hosted at the Miami International Autodrome (Hard Rock Stadium) on March 5-6, the event pairs celebrities with Formula E’s world-class teams and drivers, immersing them in the precision and adrenaline of top-tier electric motorsport.
Formula E CEO Jeff Dodds described Evo Sessions as a project born from a bold vision:
“The initial reaction when I pitched Evo Sessions was, ‘This is wild!’—and that’s when I knew we had to do it. We’re giving audiences an unparalleled look into what it really takes to be a Formula E driver, through the eyes of some of the most influential people today.”
With an elite lineup of eleven personalities, including football legend Sergio Agüero, actor Tom Felton, YouTube star Theo Baker and automotive creator Supercar Blondie, the Evo Sessions will see these rookies go from simulator training to the high-speed action of the GEN3 Evo race car. A machine that accelerates from 0-60mph in just 1.82 seconds, faster than a Formula 1 car.
Fans will get an all-access look at the behind-the-scenes journey of each celebrity as they undergo rigorous training, including engineering briefings, driver coaching and physical conditioning before making their track debut. The entire experience will be captured in real-time across Formula E’s digital and social platforms, culminating in a feature-length documentary to be released later in 2025.

The Lineup: Celebrities Go Wheel-to-Wheel with Racing Icons
Each participant will be paired with a Formula E team and pro driver, ensuring they receive expert guidance from some of the best in the sport:
Brooklyn Peltz Beckham (Entrepreneur) – Jaguar TCS Racing, coached by Mitch Evans
Sergio Agüero (Football icon) – TAG Heuer Porsche, coached by Pascal Wehrlein
Emelia Hartford (Actress & record-breaking car builder) – Maserati MSG Racing, coached by Stoffel Vandoorne
Cleo Abram (Tech creator) – NEOM McLaren, coached by Sam Bird
Ammar Kandil (Yes Theory) (YouTube personality) – Andretti Formula E, coached by Jake Dennis
Vinnie Hacker (Multi-hyphenate creative) – DS PENSKE, coached by Maximilian Günther

Supercar Blondie (Automotive creator) – Nissan Formula E, coached by Norman Nato
JUCA (Motorsport content creator) – CUPRA KIRO, coached by Dan Ticktum
Driver61 (Pro driver & creator) – Lola Yamaha ABT, coached by Zane Maloney
Theo Baker (YouTuber) – Mahindra Racing, coached by Nyck de Vries
Actor Lucien Laviscount was initially slated to take part but withdrew due to a film commitment.
Formula E’s goal of reaching half a billion fans by 2030 is clear, and Evo Sessions is a crucial step in broadening the sport’s reach to new audiences. By blending the world of motorsport with mainstream entertainment, the event is set to redefine how fans engage with electric racing.
The Celebrities Weigh In
For some, Evo Sessions is a childhood dream come true. Tom Felton, best known for his role in Harry Potter, spoke passionately about his love for racing:
“I’ve grown up loving wheels my entire life… Nothing compares to the excitement of actually getting into the driver’s seat of one of the most exciting vehicles on four wheels.”
Meanwhile, Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, whose love for motorsport runs deep, jumped at the opportunity:
“The performance of these cars is insane. I can’t wait to learn from the best.”
For automotive YouTuber JUCA, driving the GEN3 Evo represents a new frontier in motorsport content creation:
“I never imagined I’d be behind the wheel of a machine like this. Formula E represents the future of racing, and I can’t wait to experience it firsthand.”
With social-first content at the heart of the initiative, Evo Sessions will provide a first-person perspective on what it takes to race at the highest level of electric motorsport.
