Formula E is accelerating its transformation into a global entertainment powerhouse through a dynamic new partnership with Marvel Studios. The all-electric racing series has joined forces with The Fantastic Four: First Steps for the grand finale of the 2024/25 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.

Officially titled The 2025 Marvel Fantastic Four London E-Prix, the final double-header of Season 11 takes place on 26 and 27 July 2025 at ExCeL London, with Rounds 15 and 16 delivering both racing thrills and big-screen excitement. Marvel Studios’ film The Fantastic Four: First Steps is set to be released in UK cinemas on Friday 25 July 2025, coinciding with the race weekend.

This collaboration highlights Formula E’s clear positioning as a global entertainment brand that blends culture, sport and technology in ways that speak to a new generation.

“We continue to push the boundaries and challenge the status quo of motorsport and entertainment,” said Ellie Norman, Chief Marketing Officer at Formula E. “We’re not only connecting with a new generation of fans but reinforcing and continuing to position ourselves as a truly global entertainment brand.”

As part of the weekend's themed experiences, Formula E’s signature Attack Mode will be rebranded as Fantastic Four Attack Mode. In Formula E, Attack Mode is a strategic racing feature that gives drivers a temporary power boost. To activate it, they must drive off the racing line and through a designated area called the Attack Zone, adding a layer of strategy and risk to the race. Themed elements inspired by the Fantastic Four franchise will appear throughout the circuit and fan zones.

“This historic collaboration with Marvel is a powerful example of how Formula E delivers across entertainment, culture and innovation,” said Tiziana Di Gioia, Chief Revenue Officer at Formula E. “Just as Marvel Studios brings legendary heroes to the screen, our drivers are real-life speed heroes. Together, we will create a unique and unforgettable experience in London that will engage fans of all ages and expand our sport’s global reach.”

“The Fantastic Four and Formula E share much connective tissue, from innovation and technology to fast-paced action and fun,” added Holly Frank, VP of Partnership Management and Operations at Walt Disney Studios (Marvel). “We’re thrilled to be teaming up to give fans the chance to celebrate the London E-Prix and support Marvel’s First Family.”

Beyond the on-track competition, spectators will be treated to a full day of family-friendly entertainment, including live music performances from Pixie Lott and Rizzle Kicks, race simulators in the Gaming Arena, and plenty of interactive experiences designed to bring the Fantastic Four universe to life.

With its fast-growing audience, bold brand collaborations and a focus on immersive fan experiences, Formula E is proving that it is more than just a motorsport series. It is a platform where high performance meets popular culture – and where the racetrack becomes a global stage for storytelling and spectacle.
