Esteban Ocon will leave TGR Haas F1 Team at the end of the 2026 Formula 1 season, bringing his two-year spell with the American-owned team to a close.

Haas confirmed that the 30-year-old Frenchman will part ways with the team following the final race of the current campaign.

Ocon joined Haas ahead of the 2025 season and helped the team record its second-highest points total in its first 10 seasons as an F1 constructor.

The Hungarian Grand Prix winner has made 39 starts for Haas as part of a Formula 1 career that currently stands at 195 race starts and 490 points.

Haas Team Principal Ayao Komatsu thanked Ocon for his contribution, highlighting the experience he brought to the development of the team’s VF-26 following Formula 1’s major regulation changes for 2026.

“I’d like to thank Esteban for everything he’s contributed to the team since joining us in 2025,” Komatsu said.

“His professionalism and commitment have proved valuable as we continue to grow as an organization. Together this year we tackled the challenge of a major regulation change, where Esteban’s driving experience and inputs were significant as we’ve worked hard to develop the VF-26 across the season.”

Komatsu added that the team’s immediate focus remains on maximising its opportunities with Ocon over the remaining races.

“There’s still plenty of racing ahead, and our focus remains on working together to maximize every opportunity through to the final race of the year.”

Haas has not confirmed in the statement who will replace Ocon for the 2027 Formula 1 season, while Ocon’s next move has also not been announced.
