The DS PENSKE Formula E Team heads into the final weekend of the 2024/25 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship with their sights firmly set on the championship podium.

The French-American outfit sits third in the team standings as the all-electric series arrives at London’s ExCeL Centre for a thrilling double-header season finale. With just a slim margin separating them from their closest rivals, the team will need back-to-back strong performances to hold their ground and close out Season 11 in style.

Jean-Eric Vergne and Maximilian Günther will suit up for their final two outings of the season in the DS E-TENSE FE25, aiming to close out their campaign with strong performances. The Gen3 Evo machine has carried them through a demanding championship, and both drivers are eager to finish on a high.

Vergne, a two-time Formula E champion and brand ambassador for DS, currently holds sixth in the drivers' championship. Meanwhile, Günther, who has claimed standout victories in Jeddah and Shanghai this season, sits ninth and is looking to cap off his season with another strong result.

Team Director Eugenio Franzetti is confident they have what it takes.

“We’re finally getting ready to finish off a season that has been particularly intense,” he said. “Formula E is an extremely demanding discipline, and we’re very happy to arrive on British soil with third place in the teams’ championship. Now we’re going to have to fight for every second to defend our place and finish the season on a high. I’ve got total confidence in our team and in the performance of our DS E-TENSE FE25 to achieve this objective.”

The London E-Prix presents a unique challenge, with its part-indoor, part-outdoor circuit creating unpredictable conditions that have delivered drama in past seasons. Races take place Saturday and Sunday at 5pm local time.

Based between Versailles and Los Angeles, the team has been a force in Formula E since DS joined the championship in 2015, earning four titles, 18 wins, 55 podiums and 26 poles across 135 races.

With a strong track record and a team hungry for results, all eyes will be on them this weekend as they fight to hold their place among the championship elite.
